A person who contaminated treats with sleeping medication and provided them to children at a youth camp in the area has confessed to sexual offenses against two young males aged nine and ten years old.
The defendant was taken into custody after eight children and one adult experienced illness at Stathern Lodge in the summer month.
The 76-year-old, from the Nottinghamshire area, pleaded guilty to a multiple criminal counts when he stood at the courthouse on Friday.
Yet, he refused to admit one particular crime he was charged with, which was concerning a nine-year-old boy.

'Sweet game'
The legal representative, handling the case, outlined the defendant's actions to the judicial body.
She explained his victims were disadvantaged youngsters who were staying at a youth camp which he managed.
Ruben engaged in a "candy game" with the children, the prosecutor stated, in which he would enter the sleeping quarters when they were preparing to sleep and request they to ingest treats "as quickly as they can".
She stated to the judge Ruben had engaged in this activity with the young males "repeatedly", and youngsters had earlier experienced illness the subsequent day.
She said Ruben had been able to explain this repeatedly as the minors being "overexcited from fun", until his family member had suspicions in recently.
The legal representative added: "Recently" his stepchild had worries about what was going on, justifiably.
"They decided to examine in the individual's items."
Mrs Prior KC stated items including baby oil, Vaseline and syringes were found, and his family member alerted the authorities about his concerns.
She said the defendant continued to play the "candy game" with six children that evening - July 26th - and they were all sick the following morning.
"The police had not responded by that time," she stated further.
The police watchdog, the police conduct office, previously told that it was investigating law enforcement's management of the events.
The prosecutor explained the youngsters were struggling to walk due to being ill, so the stepson notified the law enforcement a second time.
She explained Ruben then conducted the "candy game" in a space of five minors.
