The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round match which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua declared he will "dominate completely" the American and "overpower" the American as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former two-time world boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite these statements, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK rival Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of the sport's biggest financial successes, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would derail the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Disparity
As Joshua and Paul participated in the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it emphasized just how improbable this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly happening.
